Leaving Monterey

It's time we're moving on again. We've been to the aquarium a couple times, played on the beach, went to Seasides' 50th birthday party, walked about 20 miles around town and now we're ready to go see somewhere new. Next stop is probably San Simeon, then Morrow Bay, then wherever we can find a place to anchor near LA.

Hi All!

Congratulations on leaving Monterey. I just got hip to your posts today and read them all. I'll be checking it frequently in the future. I'd like to make a request. Somewhere in each blog could you explain one sailing term - one that you used in that blog or another. For example, I don't know what "we sailed off the anchor" means. This might be too arduous a task, so don't feel obligated. Ellie, what's been your favorite part of the trip so far? I've officially become an artist while you've been gone. Studio UFO, where I draw and take classes and is above the Blue Horse Gallery on Bay Street, has had several of my pieces up for the monthly art walks! I'll make a relevent comment soon, I promise. Love, Stacy (& Neilson)
